Beaver Creek Terrain Update 12.10.17

Beaver Creek Terrain & Operations Update

Dec. 10, 2017

  • Beaver Creek is open with top-to-bottom skiing and snowboarding on 147 acres of beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain accessible via Centennial Express Lift (#6), Buckaroo Express Gondola (#1), Cinch Express Lift (#8), and Bachelor Gulch Express Lift (#16).
  • Beginning Sunday, Latigo will open, providing access to 167 total acres of terrain.
  • Resort snowmakers and groomers have been working hard to provide our guests with the best snow conditions possible.
  • Recent cold temperatures have provided ideal conditions for snowmaking operations, and snowmaking will continue at every opportunity that weather permits as we work towards opening more terrain on the mountain for our guests.
  • A visit to Beaver Creek is about more than just the skiing; it is the combination of family experiences and traditions that set a trip here apart. Beaver Creek has an amazing lineup of family-fun activations scheduled from now through the New Year, including:

NEW/CURRENT TERRAIN:

Today, Bachelor Gulch Express Lift (#16) opened with access on Upper Cabin Fever to Lower Gunders to Lower Sawbuck. There will not be skiing access between Bachelor Gulch and Beaver Creek Village.

On Sunday, the resort will open Latigo trail, accessible via Centennial Express Lift (#6) on the main mountain.

RESORT UPHILL ACCESS

Due to early-season work on the mountain and current conditions, uphill access is currently closed at the resort. For additional information regarding the resort’s policy, please visit the Beaver Creek Mountain Safety page. When uphill access does open, those climbing up the mountain should expect to encounter snowcats, including winch cats, snowmobiles, snowmaking equipment and other traffic, both day and night. For any questions about skinning and hiking up the mountain or for trail recommendations on any given day, please call the Beaver Creek Trails Hotline at 970-754-5907. Beaver Creek and the U.S. Forest Service thank guests for their understanding and cooperation.

F&B OPERATIONS:

Spruce Saddle (main mountain) and Mamie’s Mountain Grill (Bachelor Gulch) are open for daily operations.
